The Hermitage of Sant'anna in Aci Catena, is a 18th-Century church with an convent adjoined that requires an important work of restoration. Rosa is the architect in charge of the project and decides to bring her team of assistants in for the first inspection. To speed these first activities, she relies on the willingness of the last nuns of the Hermitage and of the priests present on the site.
Assistant, please take note that we are meeting directly in front of the Church. Rosa will bring access badges to and maps for the reliefs, you just have to bring your smartphone in case we need to take photos.
Rosa is a well-known architect who will take you inside an ancient cloistered convent positioned on a hill where you can enjoy a breathtaking view. The entrance to the Hermitage is exclusive for "Rosa’s assistants" who will be able to master the architectural relief method starting with the hidden mediterranean garden inside. It will be possible to retrace the history of the monastery together with the priests who guard it. We will immerse ourselves in a world of profound spirituality if we had the humility to accept life experiences in the encounter with the nuns who live in the convent. In addition to the five senses, the sixth sense, namely the one of the spirit, will eventually be the most "exercised" in this memorable story.
Kids or children under 12 are welcomed only if accompanied by an adult.
Animation by an Architect qualified as Operator for Experiential Tourism. Inspection of the areas of the Hermitage accompanied by the Sister-nuns of the Hermitage of Saint Anna, a lesson about drawing up the architectonic relief to manage the restoration project. Entertainment on the story of the Hermitage told by a priest, resident on the spot, testimony of the life of the nuns, shared lunch or dinner with the sisters in their refectory.
