Photos and greetings
I century AD, the Roman army is ready to attack the peaceful Carnic Celts of Cordenons. All that remains for Priestess Paola is to ask the gods for help and call the village people to give life to an auspicious dance to prevent the certain massacre.
Paola is waiting for you before the sunset in front of the big oak tree. Colour your face with the colours of life and take your most precious amulet with you so that our dance can please the gods for saving us from destruction.
Paola, in the shoes of a Celtic priestess in remote Carnia, will help us relieve one of the most dramatic moments in the ancient history of Cordenons. The rite will take place at nightfall, no matter the weather, and the result will be unsure until the very end. We are to dance until dark night entrusting the gods to help us but we are going to have a great feast if gods appear favorable.
- Kids or children under 12 are welcomed only if accompanied by an adult.
- At booking time please inform us about any food allergies and/or intolerance.
- The dances are easy but not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Welcoming coffee and refreshments, introduction to the historical context of the event, preparation for the dances with a Celtic dance professional, banquette with dishes and food from the epoch of the event, live Celtic music by a local band. The participants are to colour their faces with watercolor for the auspicious dance and, at the end, they can keep the amulet given in the beginning of the story as a memory of this intense experience.
